The one day late edition. I’m in Florida. The weather is nice. Time flies by. I have 969 unread articles in my Google Reader and I only missed one day. Needless to say, this will probably be the shortest, untimeliest, HDU. My apologies.
Guess who won Top Chef? Stupid, stupid, Casey! I blame you for this.
The [...]

I’m writing this and watching LOST at the same time. Gosh I wish I knew more about physics!
Top Chef is getting a spin-off! It’s called Top Chef Masters and it’s going to star master chefs I guess. I don’t quite get it just yet, but I’ll probably end up watching it.
Everyone and their mother is [...]

I’m in DC for the Inauguration! Here are the awesome TV related sightings I’ve had so far:
Staying at a friend’s house. His roomate saw Kevin Nealon at Lucky Bar. No details on Weeds.
Lots of camera crews around. Walked past the MSNBC mobile studio. Waved excessively.
Went to the *finally finished* American History Museum after a 10-year [...]

So as previously mentioned, this week has been wackadoodle. Between snowstorms and other freak events, my real life is seeping into my blog life. Double lame. I’ve been so caught up in the busy-ness of the last few days that I haven’t been able to watch as much TV as I usually do. It sucks. [...]

Marry: Bobby Moynihan
Bobby is one of the new fellas on SNL this season. Though he may get lost in the testosterone shuffle over at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, he really stood out on last night’s ep. His Snagglepuss impression was spot on (Heavens to Mergatroid!) but he finally earned his wings after last night’s dancer sketch [...]

Post-Election Day High Edition! Let’s keep it short.
Sad news first: Michael Crichton, blockbluster author of books like Jurassic Park, and The Andromeda Strain lost his battle with cancer today at the age of 66. Crichton contributed to television as the creator of ER. He based the series off of his own experience as a medical [...]

Top Chef Season 2 runner-up Marcel “Giant Head/Bigger Ego” Vigneron was arrested and thrown in the clink on Saturday for a DUI.
Marcel posted the $2,500 bail and even managed to make it to a benefit event on Sunday.
Keep your nose out of the cooking sherry little buddy.

Speaking of shows coming to life, the folks at Top Chef are doing some cooking demonstrations, and sharing some show insights as a part of Top Chef: The Tour. The event stops in 20 cities across the country and admission to the hour-long sessions are free.
Different chefs appear in each stop. Detroit was fortunate enough [...]

I learned about the term “gastrosexuals” a few weeks back. Definition? A hot guy who cooks.
And there was no better place to find (and ogle) these fellas than the Top Chef kitchens. My gastrosexual of choice is Sam Talbot from Top Chef season two. So classy, so laid back, and his food (and sexy hair) [...]

I’m watching Next Food Network Star and it’s official…I don’t want any of these people to have their own television show.
On the other hand, DesignStar is blowing my socks off. These people are creative, funny, daring and a pleasure to watch. I’m not even that much of a home and garden nut, but that’s just [...]

The good folks at Slate took in some of the coursework offered by the New York Reality TV School. Apparently this place teaches you how to let your freak flag fly just right to attract the attention of all the right people.
You can sign -up for an intensive one-time workshop or a five week course. [...]
